The second press conference took place in the "Artget" Gallery on 5th May 2004. The results of an open competition organised for the purpose of 45th October Art Salon - Continental breakfast, Belgrade - were released on that occasion.

Gorica Mojovic, a member of the Executive Board of the Belgrade City Assembly who is in charge of culture, Bojan Bem, the President of the 45th October Art Salon Council, Anda Rottenberg, the Art Director of the 45th October Art Salon and Danica Jovovic Prodanovic, a member of the 45th October Art Salon Council and the General Manager of the Belgrade Cultural Centre, addressed to the journalists and visitors present at this press conference.

It was made public that this year's 45th October Art Salon - Continental Breakfast, Belgrade - was the first event to be held within an ampler project that had been presented at the first forum of CEI held in Venice in June 2003. This project comprises a series of cultural events that will be held in various European cities. Anda Rottenberg presented a list of selected artists whose works will be exhibited at the 45th October Art Salon. She explained that her selection had been limited by the number of participants and the very concept of the Salon. She added that a number of submitted art works had not entered the selection, because they did not respond to the demands of the concept. Several domestic artists were on the list. They were invited directly by Mrs Rottenberg, who had based her decision on their international reputation.

Around 60 authors, a half of them coming from Serbia and Montenegro, while the other half from various foreign countries, will display their art works at the 45th October Art Salon - Continental breakfast, Belgrade. The Salon will be held on various locations: the "25th May" Museum, the Art Gallery and the "Artget" Gallery of the Belgrade Cultural Centre, the Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts (FLU), the Gallery of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS), the House of Legacy, the Belgrade Public Baths, the "Veljkovic" Pavilion and other venues around the city suitable for site specific projects. Although each venue is imagined a separate theme segment, it will strictly follow the main concept of the Salon - "Continental Breakfast".
